Job description

The Role

euNetworks are seeking a Data Governance & Network Inventory Process Specialist to drive critical improvements in data quality, asset visibility, and operational efficiency across our network infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and process transformation and is pivotal in enabling automation and improved control of inventory and financial operations.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across Technology, Operations, IT, and Finance to define ownership, uncover data discrepancies and implement a rolling governance framework that improves hygiene, visibility and planning capabilities for our rapidly evolving network.

What will you be doing?
Process Definition & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and document process responsibilities for inventory control, asset registration, cross-connect management, and stock control.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover systemic issues impacting data quality and operational transparency.
  • Engage with teams including Network Planning, Service Delivery, Finance, and Vendor Management to define accurate process handoffs.
Data Quality Management & Governance Programme
  • Design and implement a rolling data quality monitoring and reconciliation programme.
  • Develop methodologies and tools to identify and rectify discrepancies such as:
    • Racks without Purchase Orders, and vice versa.
    • NetOpex Cross Connects missing corresponding purchase documentation.
    • Serial number mismatches between Network Management Systems, Inventory Systems, and Stock.
    • Incomplete or inconsistent asset and circuit records in planning, warehouse, and live environments.
  • Introduce and support tools for reporting on structured cabling, patching, and cross-connects in data centres.
Tool Development & Process Automation
  • Work with IT Development and external vendors (e.g., Ciena, Adva, Infinera) to support reconciliation tooling across Salesforce, Network Inventory, and Management Systems.
  • Lead initiatives to automate asset registration and improve order-to-cash visibility for lit services.
Documentation & Training
  • Deliver end-to-end documentation for key inventory and provisioning processes, particularly focused on:
    • Long Haul Waves and Passives
    • Metro Wave Infrastructure
    • Metro Fibre and Cross-Connects
  • Identify and train resource owners for each process step to embed accountability and sustain improvements.
What do we want from you?
  • Some experience delivering data quality and inventory reconciliation projects in telecoms, IT infrastructure, or network operations.
  • Understanding of network architecture, including racks, circuits, cross-connects, structured cabling, and provisioning is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong analytical and process mapping skills
  • Experience with Salesforce, Network Inventory Tools, NMS platforms, and financial tracking systems.
  • Ability to influence and coordinate across distributed teams and vendors
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
