Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment is seeking a proactive Data Manager to join a global travel leader's Data Governance team in Manchester on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on data quality, governance, and collaboration with data engineers and product managers to improve data products.

You will automate data quality checks, maintain data dictionaries and end-to-end data lineage, and partner with Data Engineers and Product Managers to ensure compliant, reliable data products across the business.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Data Governance, MDM, or lifecycle management.
• Proficient in SQL and Python for data analysis and profiling.
• Experience with Tableau or PowerBI for data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Data Quality: Automating DQ checks and creating reports to identify root causes of data issues.
• Governance: Maintaining data dictionaries, business glossaries, and end-to-end data lineage.
• Collaboration: Partnering with Data Engineers and Product Managers to improve data products and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analysis: Profiling complex datasets to quantify the business impact of data failures.
