Job summary

Slalom Build is seeking a skilled Data Governance professional to help design and implement governance frameworks and data products that enable trusted data across client environments. The role focuses on cataloging, data quality, lineage, and policies to deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will partner with clients and Slalom teams to deploy governance operating models, lead data stewardship initiatives, and drive adoption of best practices across data assets.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing data governance frameworks and technologies.
• Ability to define data lineage, metadata, and catalog strategies for complex environments.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into data governance solutions that drive value.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the DG discovery phase through interviews and data asset inventory.
• Develop and revise data governance strategies, operating models, and workflows.
• Define metadata requirements, data lineage, catalog tooling, and automation.
• Assess data quality, remediate issues, and establish monitoring and thresholds.
• Enhance Master Data Management through cleansing, enrichment, and governance processes.
• Train data stewards to uphold data quality rules and data usage policies.
