Qualifications

• Experience in data governance, data management, or a similar data-focused role.
• Proficient in Excel, reporting tools and dashboards (Power BI).
• Experience with mapping/GIS platforms and asset data systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across business and technical teams.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and risks.
• Knowledge of data quality, governance, risk management, and data security best practices.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in utilities, water, wastewater, civil engineering, or project delivery environments is advantageous.

Vacancy Introduction

As a Data Governance & Design Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing data governance activities and coordinating the delivery of design workstreams to support operational and project success. You will ensure critical business data is accurate, consistent, and well-managed across systems, while leading initiatives that improve data quality, reporting, and governance practices. Alongside this, you will manage design delivery programmes, coordinating stakeholders, maintaining project timelines, monitoring risks, and ensuring design outputs meet client, regulatory, and quality requirements. Acting as a key point of contact for both internal teams and external clients, you will provide insight, drive continuous improvement, and support informed decision-making through accurate reporting and effective data management.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in data governance, data management, or a similar data-focused role.
