Qualifications

• Experience in data governance within a large or complex organisation.
• Proven ability to establish data ownership models and accountability.
• Strong knowledge of data management, governance standards and data quality.
• Excellent influencing and written/verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the BBC Studios Data Governance framework, standards and practices.
• Establish clear data ownership with domain owners and senior stakeholders using governance processes.
• Provide pragmatic advice on governance and data quality queries for diverse teams.
• Promote data governance disciplines through education, metadata guidance and accessible docs.
• Collaborate with platform and technical teams to embed governance principles in systems.
• Support day-to-day governance operations and third-party vendor coordination.
