ADLIB Recruitment | B Corp™ is recruiting for a Data Engineering Lead to join a market-leading Bristol-based organisation during a data transformation journey. The role sits in the Data & Insight function and you will lead a team to modernise the data platform and deliver trusted, scalable data solutions to support growth.

You'll balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, guiding Databricks migration and engineering best practices while maintaining close ties to technology workstreams

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing Data Engineering teams within complex organisations.
• Strong hands-on experience building and operating modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Excellent SQL and Python skills.
• Strong experience with Databricks.
• A solid understanding of data engineering, modelling and architecture best practices.
• Experience delivering data solutions that support reporting, analytics and data science.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical delivery.
• Experience of technology transformation, platform modernisation or large-scale migration projects would be beneficial.
• Exposure to Tableau and integration platforms such as SnapLogic would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small but talented team of Data Engineers and shape the data platform direction.
• Drive the Databricks migration and support broader tech and business transformation.
• Provide technical leadership across the data engineering estate to ensure scalable, secure pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data delivery with business needs.
