Job summary

Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Data Engineer for the Business Intelligence & Data Services team to shape data-driven decision-making across the Trust. You will develop the data warehouse, ETL processes, and reporting strategies across clinical and operational data.

You will collaborate with clinicians, divisional managers and IT colleagues to ensure high-quality datasets, deliver dashboards, and support statutory reporting.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification (HND or higher) in Computing or Information Technology.
• Experience with SQL Server, Visual Basic, DTS, VB.NET and .NET framework.
• Able to develop reports to support performance data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the local data warehouse and reporting systems.
• Keep warehouse documentation up to date.
• Provide training and support to users of the reporting application.
• Ensure timely, relevant information for decision-making across the Trust.
