Nationwide is seeking a Data Engineer to deliver well-defined data products and build strong technical and business knowledge within an Agile environment. You will develop and maintain data pipelines using SQL, Python, and cloud platforms, ensure data quality and governance, and collaborate across engineering, analytics, and business teams.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup with at least two days per week in our Northampton or Swindon offices, contributing to data strategy and progressive ownership

Competenze

• Experience with Databricks, dbt, Azure or similar data platforms.
• Good understanding of DevOps tools and practices.
• Experience in an Agile delivery environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Experience handling regulated or sensitive data.
• Proven Python and SQL development and deployment experience.
• GitHub with version control, code reviews, testing and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of data modelling, semantic layers, metrics and data governance.
