Job summary

CACI Digital Experience seeks an experienced Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines for analytics and operational decision‑making. You will shape the data engineering roadmap, align with business priorities, and work across central government, defence and critical infrastructure sectors.

The role offers hybrid work across the UK offices or from home, with occasional travel to meet customers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Engineer in complex environments.
• Proficient in SQL, Python and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Snowflake and cloud platforms.
• Understanding of data governance, security and data sharing.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data requirements and analyse large-scale datasets for accuracy.
• Design and implement ETL frameworks for data ingestion and transformation.
• Apply data quality controls and prepare datasets for visualization.
• Develop data models and manage storage (S3, Blob, BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Support data governance standards and policies for compliance.
• Deliver performance optimizations of data workflows.
• Contribute to analytics and visualization strategies and evaluate new tech.
