Job summary

Lupa Pets is building a category-defining AI-native operating system for veterinary practices and pet parents, headquartered in Paddington, London. We seek a data engineer to design, build, and own data pipelines that feed product and analytics across geographies, ensuring clean, production-ready datasets and reliable data quality.

The role requires hands-on experience with Python, Spark, AWS, Docker, Airflow, and modern data tooling.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering experience in a professional setting.
• Proficiency building data pipelines from ingestion to production-ready datasets.
• Experience designing robust data models and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines from raw ingestion through to clean, modelled datasets.
• Own data quality, define standards and instrument checks.
• Monitor pipeline health in production and respond to issues proactively.
• Collaborate with engineering and product to translate data requirements into scalable solutions.
• Help define and evolve the architecture of the data platform as we scale.
• Document work clearly for team understanding and maintenance.
