Job summary

Lupa Pets is hiring for an engineer to build an AI-native platform for veterinary practices and pet parents from our Paddington HQ. You will own features end-to-end—API design, React interfaces, and database migrations—shipping real user-facing enhancements daily.

We value a strong background in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL, plus startup or high-growth experience. Hybrid work with in-person collaboration at our London HQ is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Engineering background in tech and product-driven environments.
• Strong command of TypeScript, Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Proven track record shipping user-facing features at pace.
• Experience at a Series A/B startup or high-growth B2B SaaS is a plus.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Docker, AWS, or GitHub CI/CD is a plus.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Own features end-to-end across the full stack (you could be leaning either frontend or backend), from API design to React interfaces to database migrations
• Ship real, user-facing product that reaches vets and pet owners every single day

Your background looks something like:

• Engineering experience in tech and product-driven environments
• Strong, practical command of TypeScript, Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL
• A genuine track record of shipping user-facing features at pace in a startup or high-growth environment
• Experience at a Series A/B startup, high-throughput B2B SaaS, or consumer tech business (nice to have)
• Familiarity with Terraform, Docker, AWS, or GitHub CI/CD (nice to have)
