Domestic & General is seeking an Underwriting Analyst to support pricing and risk decisions that keep our warranty products commercially sustainable and delivering fair value for customers. This UK-focused role is hybrid from Wimbledon or Nottingham offices.

You will analyse performance trends, study claims and product data, develop recommendations, and prepare clear reports for stakeholders. Collaboration across Pricing, Product, Commercial, Finance, Operations and Data is essential, with

Qualifications

• Degree in a numerate subject such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science or related discipline.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions.
• Interest in data analysis, commercial decision-making, insurance, pricing or risk.

Responsibilities

• Monitor profitability, growth, retention and customer value metrics across portfolios.
• Analyse claims, customer and product data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Assist forecasting activities and assess future performance scenarios.
• Contribute to pricing, underwriting, promotions and retention recommendations.
• Produce clear analysis, reports and commentary for stakeholders across the business.
• Build relationships with colleagues in Commercial, Pricing, Product, Operations and Data.
• Support the development of reporting, dashboards and analytics processes.
• Learn how underwriting decisions are made and how they affect business performance.
