Job summary

DUAL UK is seeking an Underwriting Performance & Data Manager to drive data-led insights across Commercial and Specialty insurance portfolios. You will oversee performance across 20+ units and support executive decision-making, capacity negotiations, and reporting evolution.

You will collaborate with trading underwriting, finance, actuarial and data teams to deliver robust reporting, insightful analysis and actionable intelligence for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in underwriting or insurance performance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.
• Strong capability in data visualization and reporting to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee underwriting performance across UK Commercial & Specialty units using key metrics like GWP, revenue, fees, and loss ratios.
• Lead monthly/quarterly performance packs and maintain dashboards for senior leadership.
• Support capacity negotiations and profit commission tracking across delegated authority arrangements.
• Improve data governance, automate reporting, and collaborate with data teams to enhance reporting suites.
• Engage stakeholders across underwriting, finance, actuarial, and groups to communicate insights.
