Job summary

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is recruiting a Project Development Officer to support Housing Improvement and Governance. You will analyse customer data, drive service improvements and coordinate cross-service initiatives, acting as a key link between Housing Services and stakeholders.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with experience in business cases, project planning, and BI concepts.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and inform decisions.
• Experience in project management is desirable but not essential.
• Good written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and service improvement is advantageous.
• Proficiency with IT applications including spreadsheets, databases and presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Collate, analyse, and interpret customer data to inform decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for cross-service collaboration to improve efficiency.
• Support project delivery by researching best practice and developing business cases.
• Use horizon scanning to identify innovative solutions, including digital improvements.
• Promote performance management and continuous improvement across services.
