Job summary

Scottish Water is seeking a data analytics professional to support Project Compass and our transformation programme. You will transform raw data from multiple systems into meaningful insights and develop dashboards using PowerBI to drive performance improvements.

You’ll work with SQL and Python to automate workflows, support root-cause analysis, and promote proactive decision making, while aligning with Lean and Agile ways of working across a range of business areas.

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset with experience handling large datasets and data analysis techniques.
• Proficient in SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyse data and in Python for analytical solutions.
• Excellent PowerBI dashboarding and ability to design automated workflows with PowerAutomate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and automated solutions to enable operational excellence.
• Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
