Job summary

Know How Resourcing is seeking a commercially minded Data Business Analyst to join the IT Transformation team in Leeds. You will help improve data, systems and processes by mapping workflows, building BI dashboards and delivering actionable insights for operational performance.

You will work across business and tech teams to translate requirements into practical reporting, enhance data quality and drive adoption of Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role with stakeholder engagement.
• Strong ability to map and document business processes (L1-L3).
• Excellent Power BI skills including dashboard design, data visualization and reporting.
• Good SQL knowledge to extract, analyse and validate data.
• Advanced Excel skills including VBA automation.

Responsibilities

• Capture, map, and maintain business processes using tools such as Miro, producing clear L1, L2 and L3 documentation.
• Analyse existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, bottlenecks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Document agreed process changes with stakeholders and ensure improvements are implemented consistently.
• Support users in the effective use of business systems and improve data accuracy across key platforms.
• Query and analyse data using SQL to support operational reporting and decision making.
• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports providing operational and strategic insight.
• Produce regular MI, KPI reporting and ad hoc analysis for senior leaders.
• Translate business requirements into practical reporting and process solutions.
• Support ongoing adoption of D365, Microsoft 365 and associated applications.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across departments.
