Job summary

Gleeds in Bristol/Cardiff is seeking a Data Developer to join our hybrid team delivering data analytics solutions using Power Apps, SQL and Power BI for major construction and infrastructure projects.

You will define requirements, design scalable ETL pipelines, build reports, and prototype business apps, working with directors, PMs and clients to turn data into measurable outcomes while maintaining data governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Data Analytics in a relevant sector.
• Deep experience with PowerApps and Power Automate.
• Excellent Power BI skills.
• Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
• Business acumen with ability to map analytics to outcomes.
• Understanding of Python is a bonus.
• Knowledge of ETL, data warehousing and data governance.
• Familiarity with Azure and AI/ML platforms.
• Current security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Degree/HNC/HND in Data, Engineering or IT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, requirements, success criteria and delivery plans with stakeholders.
• Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines and data models.
• Build high impact Power BI reports and self-service analytics.
• Prototype and deliver business apps with PowerApps and Power Automate.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support PMs by removing blockers, estimating effort and tracking progress.
• Engage with clients and internal teams to provide consultancy.
