Job summary

Triumph Consultants Ltd in Bristol is seeking a Data Officer - Power App Developer to build a model-driven Power App that aligns with our existing employer engagement reporting documents. The six-month contract is hybrid, with 2–3 days in the office each week.

You will gather user requirements, model data, test and support the app in live use, and help track employer engagement and related skills programmes for the Connect to Work project.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Power Apps, Dataverse and Power Automate to build data apps.
• Experience gathering user requirements for practical digital solutions.
• Testing, troubleshooting and supporting applications in live environments.
• Knowledge of data modelling, data quality and ETL/data integration concepts.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Connect to Work Team to support people with barriers to employment.
• Support data collection and reporting requirements for DWP.
• Create reporting mechanisms to track employer engagement and wider programmes.
• Develop a model-driven Power App for employer engagement reporting.
• Align the app with existing employer engagement reporting documents and Data Team guidance.
• Ensure the app meets reporting needs for DWP and the Employment and Skills Service.

Triumph Consultants are looking for a Data Officer - Power App Developer to develop a model-driven Power App which aligns with the existing employer engagement reporting Excel documents. Contract is for 6 months in Bristol, BS1 6AL. Hybrid working, with 2 to 3 days in the office each week.

Key requirements:

• Proficiency in using Power Apps, Dataverse and Power Automate to develop and maintain data collection solutions.
• Confident in gathering user requirements to deliver practical digital solutions.
• Experience in testing, troubleshooting and supporting applications in a live environment.
• Understanding of data modelling, data quality and data integration principles, including ETL.
• Experience developing externally facing applications is desirable
• Familiarity with Databricks or other cloud-based data platforms is desirable
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data analysis and processing tools is desirable
• Awareness of JavaScript or similar languages is desirable

Key responsibilities

• Work within a Connect to Work Team (a DWP employability project) which supports all people with complex barriers to employment, to get into and retain work
• Support the project with extensive data collection and reporting requirements to DWP
• Create appropriate reporting mechanisms to track both employer engagement across the project and with wider employability and skills programmes
• Create a Power App solution to support tracking of the employer engagement, working within and supported by the Employment and Skills Data Team
• Develop a model-driven Power App which aligns with the existing employer engagement reporting Excel documents, working with the Data Team to create, design, test and implement this reporting tool for the Connect to Work team
• Ensuring the app meets reporting needs for DWP and also the operational needs of the wider Employment and Skills Service area
