Job summary

VIRTUS Data Centres is seeking a Technical Shift Manager to support site operations, coordinating PPM and break/fix work between the DCM and Facilities teams. The role covers data centre management, operational continuity, and service delivery through our subcontractor for M&E and ICT tasks.

Working hours follow a continental 12-hour shift pattern (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am). The role requires hands-on leadership, deep understanding of health and safety, and strong coordination with the SMC and site

Qualifications

• Experience in a Data Centre or similar critical management role.
• Real-time incident/fault management experience in a live environment.
• Strong process management experience in operational settings.

Responsibilities

• Witness all critical works on site.
• Manage M&E tasks to ensure service delivery meets expectations.
• Assist in scenario testing and training for site teams.
• Draft post-incident reviews.
• Work with SMC on change control and reporting.
