Job summary

Velocity Recruitment seeks a Data Centre Technical Services Manager to lead day-to-day maintenance in a mission critical London facility. You will be the technical lead for HV electrical systems, coordinating specialist subcontractors and working with the client to exceed standards while maintaining uptime.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mission critical Data Centre environments (Tier 3+).
• Strong knowledge of CERMTM and CEM Risk Management Framework.
• Experience as Senior Authorised Person for HV electrical systems.
• Ability to lead, train and mentor engineering teams and third-party subcontractors.
• Excellent reporting and incident review skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CERMTM procedures and risk frameworks are followed.
• Operate all building systems including HV isolations with safe, efficient performance.
• Own HV Authorised Person appointments and engineer development.
• Coordinate Specialist Subcontractors and ensure SOP/MOP/PTW compliance.
• Oversee quality checks, incident reporting and after-action reviews.
• Lead technical development of team and drive competency improvements.
• Attend weekly operations and client meetings with Account Manager.
