Job summary

Eligo Recruitment is seeking an experienced Data Centre Team Leader to join a growing technology and infrastructure business in North Acton. You will lead a hands-on team of 4+ DC Operations Engineers, manage MAC and BAU activities, and support IT hardware deployments in a 24/7 environment.

The role requires strong leadership, a banking/financial services IT background, and extensive cabling experience. You’ll work closely with the Data Centre Manager to improve operations, coordinate vendor

Qualifications

• Experience in banking/financial services IT environments.
• Strong MAC and IT hardware deployment background.
• Extensive structured cabling experience (copper & fibre).
• Proficient fault-finding and testing (Fluke preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4+ DC Operations Engineers.
• Manage MAC and BAU activities across the data centre.
• Oversee server, network hardware and rack installations.
• Coordinate copper and fibre patching, SFP testing, and connectivity.
• Support incident management and service delivery.
• Mentor new team members and drive process improvements.
