Job summary

ONNEC Group is seeking a Data Centre Team Leader to oversee a 4+ engineers team and drive MAC/BAU work at client data centres. You will coordinate provisioning, testing, and relocations while ensuring adherence to client processes and security requirements.

The role requires leadership, hands-on data centre experience, and strong problem-solving skills to maintain service levels in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking IT environments and data centre moves/adds/changes.
• Knowledge of structured cabling standards and testing methods.
• Experience with asset management, ticketing systems and change management.
• Ability to mentor new staff and lead shift activities.
• Comfort working in a large, diverse data centre environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage a team of 4+ DC operations engineers on 24/7 shifts.
• Lead device provisioning, patching and change execution per client procedures.
• Monitor data centre health, respond to incidents and drive problem resolution.
• Maintain asset lifecycle records and manage third-party integrations.
• Raising access requests, coordinating with security and ServiceNow records.
