Job summary

ONNEC Group is seeking a Data Centre Supervisor to deliver MAC and BAU activities across client data centres and campus environments in Farnborough. You will work closely with the Data Centre Manager, ensuring high-availability operations and continuous service improvements.

You’ll coordinate planning, scheduling and execution of works, manage shift coverage and resources, monitor SLA performance, and supervise cabling, installation and decommissioning while maintaining safety, quality standards

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in structured cabling installation, testing and fault finding.
• Strong knowledge of cabling standards (copper & fibre) and data centre infrastructure.
• Proven experience in asset management, ticketing systems and service delivery processes.
• Ability to supervise shift activities and support project delivery from design through to handover.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and working in large-scale, operational environments.
• Strong organisational, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure within a 24/7 operational environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Data Centre Supervisor plays a key role in delivering IT cabling infrastructure support services across client data centre environments. The role is site-based and responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of Moves, Adds & Changes (MAC) activities and Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations, while supporting efficient day-to-day service delivery and operational improvements.

Working closely with the Data Centre Manager, Service Delivery Manager and client stakeholders, the role contributes to planning, execution, and continuous improvement of operational processes in a high-availability, 24/7 environment.
