Job summary

MiCiM is recruiting an experienced Planner to lead the delivery of a Data Centre project in the South-East. You will oversee complex planning activities from bid stage through to completion, ensuring alignment with programme management best practices.

You will review plans, manage documentation, and collaborate with design, procurement and construction teams to keep projects on schedule. A strong emphasis on knowledge sharing, training and continuous improvement is expected.

Qualifications

• Prev construction planning experience, ideally on mission critical projects.
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to negotiate with suppliers and clients.
• Systems savvy and quick to learn new project management software.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing & providing complex analysis of plans, programmes and reports.
• Ensuring programme management is consistent across projects and in line with best practice.
• Maintaining control and traceability of documentation from project initiation through to completion.
• Monitoring performance measurement criteria throughout a project’s lifecycle
• Providing training and support to non-planning project staff
• Keeping records & preparing project reports
• Setting up protocols and managing supply chain programme production, issue and acceptance
• Ensuring proper integration of design and procurement elements of programmes with construction.
• Working with planning department peers to implement best practice and share knowledge.
