Job summary

Radius Consultancy Ltd is seeking a Data Centre Project Manager/Associate Director to lead Data Centre new builds from RIBA stages 1-4, with emphasis on planning, regulation compliance, and coordinating with third-party principal contractors.

You will develop detailed project programmes, manage procurement, cost control, design management, risk and change control, and contract administration while mentoring other project managers and applying commercial awareness across MEP / M&E.

Qualifications

• Experience of Data Centre new builds from RIBA stages 1-4.
• Strong understanding of planning, Building Regulations, and local council planning.
• Experience working with third-party principal contractors.
• Ability to mentor other Project Managers.
• Strong commercial awareness, strategic thinking and leadership in MEP / M&E.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed target project programmes and monitor progress against plan.
• Procure design teams, plant & equipment, and contractors; manage tender activity.
• Review estimates, cost plans and cash-flows; support funding approvals.
• Engage with design teams and monitor design development and approvals.
• Maintain a project risk register and implement change control processes.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with terms; secure necessary consents.
• Monitor quality of design and works; coordinate testing and commissioning.
