Job summary

Radius is seeking an Associate Director for Cost and Commercial Management with extensive M&E experience in critical infrastructure, based in London. The role leads the Commercial Department and provides in-house QS services across infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include estimating, cost planning, procurement, tendering, negotiations, cash flow and final accounting, with oversight of £10m-£30m contracts and a strong focus on risk and supply chain management.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in estimating and cost planning for large infrastructure projects.
• 5+ years leading construction projects, ideally data centres or complex services.
• Ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record in managing critical supply chains and risk.

Responsibilities

• Own all commercial elements of pre-contracting for each project.
• Estimate budget costs and cost plans for schemes.
• Develop cashflow plans to fund schemes.
• Prepare and obtain internal approvals and procurement strategy.
• Agree contracting approaches and tender documents.
• Lead tender processes and select best suppliers/partners.
• Prepare preliminaries and contract bundles with legal input.
• Collaborate with external QS on delivery of commercial tasks.
• Manage cost reporting, variations, and final accounting.
