Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer specializing in data centre design to join our Buildings & Places sector. You will lead mechanical engineering projects within multidisciplinary teams, driving delivery across the EMEA region and contributing to our global network.

The role requires Chartered Engineer status or equivalent, extensive Construction Administration experience, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer or Architect (or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in Construction Administration.
• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary data centre teams.
• Strong understanding of permitting, building systems, regulations, and construction methodologies.
• Willingness to travel.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
