Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer with Construction Administration experience to join our Buildings & Places sector, focusing on data centre design and delivery. You will be a technical leader and ambassador for our data centre practice, driving projects across the EMEA region and contributing to our global network.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer or Architect status or equivalent is required.
• Extensive data centre design and construction delivery experience.
• Ability to lead cross-geography technical teams and manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery on data centre projects for technology firms.
• Demonstrate proven project delivery track record as a Principal Engineer.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams across geographies and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Contribute to thought leadership and strategic growth in the data centre sector.
• Oversee data centre design and project management from concept to delivery.
• Extensive Construction Administration experience across challenging projects.
• Lead cross-discipline teams on complex data centre programs.
• Maintain strong knowledge of permitting, building systems, regulations, and construction methodologies.
• Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
