Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking an experienced Data Centre Shift Engineer for a permanent role in Slough. You will maintain essential data centre building services, respond to alarms, and carry out fault-finding and planned/reactive maintenance in a critical facility with LV electrical systems.

The role requires LVAP qualification (or willingness to work towards), BS7671 qualification, and a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent, with strong HSE practices and ability to work under pressure in a team and

Qualifications

• LV Authorised Person qualification or willingness to work towards authorisation.
• Experience in fault-finding and maintenance in critical environments.
• Strong health and safety understanding and Safe Systems of Work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on critical plant and equipment.
• Respond to BMS alarms and perform emergency repairs as required.
• Maintain electrical and mechanical infrastructure in a business-critical environment.
• Perform LV switching and LVAP responsibilities.
• Issue and manage Permits to Work and ensure Safe Systems of Work.
• Prepare switching schedules, SOPs and EOPs; follow RAMS.
