Job summary

JLL is hiring for an Operations Manager, Data Centres to oversee day-to-day data centre operations, ensuring uptime and efficiency. You will lead a team of technicians and engineers, coordinate with clients, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to optimize maintenance programs while managing budgets and vendor relationships. On-site in Slough with operational responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Desirable).
• Electrical/Mechanical Engineering HNC or HND (Desirable).
• 18th Edition (Desirable).
• Proven experience in data centre operations management, preferably in a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data centre operation, maintenance and repair of critical facility systems, including power, cooling, security and fire suppression.
• Lead and manage a team of technicians and engineers delivering data centre operations and services.
• Act as primary client contact for operational matters, managing expectations and communications.
• Ensure compliance with data centre standards, regulations and security protocols; mitigate risks.
