Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Centre Technical Supervisor in Northolt to lead the operations team and ensure delivery of all contract commitments, including safety, compliance, and client procedures.

The role involves HVAP responsibilities, supervising engineers, managing holidays, and maintaining CBRE processes within a data centre environment. The candidate should have experience in critical environments, HV/AP15, 18th edition, and strong communication skills to coordinate with CBRE

Qualifications

• Must understand Health and Safety requirements and supervise day-to-day safety
• Experience in a critical environment is essential
• Experience with AP15 High Voltage and 18th edition wiring
• Mechanical knowledge or ability to demonstrate it
• Strong team leadership and customer-facing communication
• Experience managing sub-contractors and permit-to-work accountability
• Flexible, able to manage own workload with little supervision
• Good commercial awareness and familiarity with data centre operations

Responsibilities

• Oversee completion of planned preventive maintenance and reactive works.
• Act as on-site High Voltage Authorised Person and manage HVAP duties.
• Supervise site engineers and ensure contractual commitments meet CBRE and client policies.
• Manage holidays and sickness for the day engineering team.
• Support management to deliver customer-focused, best-in-class services.
• Uphold CBRE RISE values and safety procedures (SSOW).
• Escalate urgent issues and respond to outages per SLA.
• Supervise CBRE Partners when required and control on-site activities.
• Provide recommendations for improvements to the Contract Manager.
• Communicate high-priority tasks within CBRE Management team.
• Maintain Technical Administration SOP/EOP/MOP and switching schedules.
• Own the CAFM system and related documentation.
