Our customer are a well established M&E service provider in the UK & Europe, with a number of commercial maintenance contracts to their name across sectors as diverse as higher education, corporate office space, government, healthcare, critical engineering, etc. At one of their flagship data centre accounts in Hertfordshire they seek a multi-skilled M&E Shift Leader to work on a 24/7 “continental” shift pattern. As part of a multi-skilled team, the successful candidate will deliver planned and reactive maintenance to electrical, mechanical and other critical / HVAC plant. Guideline salary for the position is circa £56,000 along with pension scheme, overtime and a budget for training.
Candidates must be fully qualified in an engineering discipline, ideally electrical-bias, and have at least five years of experience delivering planned and reactive maintenance in a critical environment. While this will ideally be a data centre, other environments such as healthcare, pharmaceutical or financial services would also be appropriate. Additional training such as 2391, HV / LV Authorisation, F-Gas, etc will all be beneficial.
