The state-of-the-art MITC - consisting of manufacturing, laboratory, plant rooms, clean rooms, and offices - is responsible for the development and manufacturing of Moderna's pharmaceutical products. Position: Static Site Supervisor

Equans is looking for a Static Site Supervisor to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. The package includes a competitive salary and benefits.

About the Site

Harwell is Moderna's new Innovation and Technology Centre (MITC) site, responsible for the development and manufacture of pharmaceutical products. The site includes manufacturing, clean rooms, laboratories, offices, and plant rooms. Maintaining HVAC equipment and meeting clean room standards are critical to ensure continuous operation of production and science.

Role Responsibilities

As the representative and first point of contact with the client, the role is crucial. Responsibilities include managing the site engineer team, ensuring PPM targets are met, maintaining statutory compliance, and ensuring critical infrastructure remains operational.

Key Deliverables

• Manage customer and team expectations
• Respond promptly to requests, coordinate quotations, and produce reports
• Review engineering job sheets for accuracy
• Ensure all PPM tasks are carried out according to specifications, logging activities in real-time
• Update CAFM system with work details and follow-up actions
• Complete reactive tasks and highlight areas for improvement
• Record plant failures and ensure swift remedial actions
• Conduct electrical testing and inspections
• Attend site outside of normal hours for breakdowns (call-outs)
• Carry out toolbox talks and supervise subcontractors

Candidate Requirements

• Electrical C&G or equivalent qualification
• Electrical inspection experience
• BS 18th Edition
• Ability to read electrical drawings
• Experience managing engineering teams
• Experience in pharmaceutical or process environments
• Building services M&E experience

This role requires a DBS Standard check; ability to pass is essential.
