Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an ICT Shift Technician to join a four-person 24/7 team in London.

You will support deployment and ongoing in-life activities for data centre solutions, including cabling, racking, and cross-connects, while ensuring adherence to standards and client SLAs. The role requires hands-on experience in data centres, a strong technical background in server, storage and network hardware, and flexibility to cover shifts at the Park Royal site and potentially other locations.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in an operational Data Centre environment with rack elevation design and installing server, storage and network hardware.
• Solid understanding of the mechanical/electrical configuration of a Data Centre.
• SC Clearance or ability to pass and hold.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-scheduled and reactive operational workflow at the Park Royal Data Centre location or at another location.
• Plan efficient use of Data Centre space and cabinet utilisation.
• Mount server, storage, and network equipment within cabinets.
• Install Data Centre cabling and patch panels in line with standards.
• Manage tickets in Remedy/ServiceNow and actions within OLAs/SLAs.
• Support incident and fault investigations and report outcomes.
• Provide timely reports and ensure compliance with regulations.
