Job summary
Atkore, West Bromwich, is seeking a UK/Ireland Data Centre Manager to lead strategic relationships across hyperscale, colocation and enterprise clients. You will influence design choices, product selection and commercial strategy to maximise revenue and margin while ensuring repeatable delivery.
The role requires building a robust pipeline, engaging with contractors and distributors, and delivering CPD and technical advisory.
Qualifications
- Proven sales success within the data centre ecosystem.
- Experience influencing design and winning specifications.
- Ability to travel UK & Ireland as required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Engineering or commercial background in related fields.
Responsibilities
- Own strategic relationships with data centre clients and contractors.
- Develop forward-looking opportunity pipeline across geographies.
- Influence product selection, pricing and commercial strategy.
- Deliver CPD and technical advisory to customers.
- Forecast and de-risk delivery with internal teams.
- Maintain CRM hygiene and report risks and wins.
- Negotiate competitive proposals by geography and programme.
