Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring a Technical Manager to oversee the Fixed Electrical Testing programme across 13 Data Centre sites in Slough. You will supervise two Authorised Persons (APs) and provide operational cover for HV/LV testing, isolations and PtW activities when needed.

You will act as the technical authority for electrical safety, drive SOPs, RAMS reviews and ensure compliance with BS7671 and SSOW, while coordinating with site operations and contractors to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Authorised Person qualification - ACTIVE and CURRENT.
• Strong knowledge of BS7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).
• Experience with Hazard/Risk Assessments and RAMS.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams in critical environments.
• Experience ensuring compliance with SSOW and PtW processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as designated Authorised Person for 11kV and LV systems across 13 sites.
• Provide operational AP cover to maintain programme delivery.
• Perform safe isolations in accordance with SSOW.
• Issue and manage PtW documentation and Certificates of Isolation.
• Enforce lock-out/tag-out protocols across plant rooms.
• Lead, mentor and coordinate two AP FET engineers.
• Plan resources to support the FET programme schedule.
• Oversee strategic planning and execution of the FET programme.
