Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Facilities Engineering / Technical Manager for a leading data centre in Slough. This client-side, in-house role offers day-to-day operation oversight, contractor management, and strategic planning within a critical environment.

The ideal candidate will be electrically qualified with proven data centre experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage budgets, procurement, outages, and incident reporting while ensuring compliance with HV/LV and industry

Qualifications

Electrical qualification with a proven track record in data centres or critical environments.
Experience in facilities operation and incident management within data centre settings.
Ability to manage budgets, procurement and contractor performance.
Strong leadership and communication skills; HV/LV experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operation including repair and maintenance, security, change control, procurement, budgeting.
Coordinate subcontractors and plan contractor site visits/PPMs for 12 months ahead.
Lead data centre expansion, modification, maintenance or move-in projects.
Prepare maintenance contracts and tender documents.
Liaise with vendors and respond to issues with regular communications.
