Job summary

Winthrop Technologies is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our Blyth project team. This site-based role oversees electrical works, coordinates site activities with other trades and subcontractors, and ensures delivery to the highest safety, quality, and programme standards.

Responsibilities include preparing look-ahead schedules, attending site meetings, managing labour resources, and monitoring subcontractor performance to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• Relevant Electrical trade qualification.
• Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within an M&E contracting environment.
• Data centre experience is advantageous.
• Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and coordinate site activities alongside other trades and subcontractors
• Prepare and manage two-week look-ahead schedules in line with the project programme
• Attend daily and weekly site meetings
• Manage labour resources to ensure alignment with programme requirements
• Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure efficient delivery of works
• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship on site
• Ensure all materials and plant delivered to site meet agreed specifications and are stored safely
• Verify subcontractor plant and access equipment is certified and fit for use
• Identify and notify project management of variations and delays
