Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the full electrical scope on a data centre project in Blyth, United Kingdom. You will coordinate design, procurement, installation, and commissioning, while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets are met.

The role requires strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams, effective communication with clients and stakeholders, and the ability to drive productivity through planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing large-scale electrical projects.
• Data centre project experience is highly desirable.
• Trade or Engineering qualification preferred, with recent experience managing major electrical contracts.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven track record in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources within complex, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all electrical installation activities across the project.
• Coordinate electrical design and technical activities with internal teams and subcontractors.
• Supervise and monitor ongoing works, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Engage with clients and key stakeholders to maintain clear communication and alignment on project goals.
• Track milestones to prevent schedule delays.
• Lead weekly coordination meetings with key stakeholders (foremen, Safety Advisor, QA Engineer, BIM teams).
• Review and sign off on project documentation and weekly foremen reports, tracking issues to close out.
