Job summary

James Lewis Recruitment seeks an Electrical Supervisor for a live Camberley data centre project. You will lead day-to-day electrical operations, ensuring safe, compliant installation and timely handover to the client.

You will manage labour, subcontractors and site teams across LV distribution, containment and critical infrastructure while maintaining QA records and supporting commissioning and close-out activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising electrical works within data centres or critical environments.
• Data centre experience is a strong advantage, including LV distribution, UPS, generators and containment.
• Confident reading technical drawings and managing labour on site.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation standards, site safety, QA procedures and permits.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical operatives, subcontractors and suppliers on site.
• Ensure installations are delivered safely, correctly and in line with drawings and RAMS.
• Oversee electrical works across data halls and related critical infrastructure.
• Coordinate containment, LV distribution, power, lighting, structured cabling, fire and security interfaces.
• Support commissioning activities including inspections, test records, energisation and handover.
• Carry out regular inspections and QA checks to maintain high standards.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, commissioning teams and subcontractors to keep work moving.
• Manage access, permits, materials, deliveries and day-to-day site coordination.
• Maintain accurate QA documentation, progress updates and handover packs.
• Support health and safety procedures and live environment controls.
