Job summary

James Lewis Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Testing Lead (AP) for a live data centre refurbishment in Camberley. The role requires ownership of electrical testing, permits, energisation readiness and AP duties on a controlled environment site.

You will coordinate testing across LV distribution, switchgear and related systems, ensuring safe works, compliance and timely handover. Data centre experience highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical testing, inspection, certification, energisation and safe systems of work.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical testing and inspection activities across a live data centre refurbishment and plant upgrade project.
• Act as the electrical AP / Authorised Person, managing permits, isolations, switching procedures and safe systems of work.
• Coordinate testing across LV distribution, switchgear, UPS interfaces, generator interfaces, containment, cabling, small power, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm interfaces, BMS interfaces, earthing and bonding.
