Job summary

James Lewis Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical delivery on a major data centre build along the M25 corridor. The role focuses on design coordination, procurement, installation and commissioning across HV/LV infrastructure, switchgear and back-end resilience.

You'll work with the project director, commercial team and subcontractors to keep the programme on track, manage risk and deliver handover-ready systems in a high-density, AI-ready environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive electrical project management experience in data centres and mission-critical environments.
• Experience with HV/LV infrastructure, switchgear, UPS, generators and BMS/EPMS interfaces.
• Strong ability to manage design coordination, procurement, installation and handover.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical delivery across a large-scale data centre project.
• Oversee programme, procurement, labour, subcontractors and QA.
• Coordinate HV/LV distribution, switchgear and BMS/EPMS interfaces.
• Lead design coordination, commissioning planning and handover.
• Ensure health and safety, quality, and site discipline.
• Liaise with project director, commercial team and clients.
