Job summary

Phoenix Resourcing Services is recruiting for Data Centre FM Shift Technicians (Electrical biased) in Slough to maintain critical infrastructure 24/7. You will perform proactive electrical and mechanical maintenance, respond to incidents and support a high‑performance data centre operations team.

We offer a competitive salary of £48,500–£52,000 with an annual bonus, parking, ongoing training and clear development paths within a dynamic, mission‑critical environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in mission-critical environments
• Technical training or education in Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC engineering
• Strong skills in maintaining high/low voltage distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, chillers, CRAC/CRAH, cooling towers, pumps, pipework and BMS systems
• Preferably trained in electrical switching & isolation procedures
• Ability and willingness to work shifts in a 24/7 operation
• Proactive, customer-focused mindset with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Drive safety, efficiency and high-performance culture across the site
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and statutory requirements
• Plan and deliver maintenance and repair tasks, including managing subcontractors
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues and provide on-call support
• Keep detailed records of work and identify improvements
• Support and guide junior engineers to build a capable team
• Demonstrate advanced technical capability across electrical and mechanical systems
• Write and review operating procedures and assist with maintenance planning
