Job summary

James Lewis Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Contract Manager for London and surrounding regions, delivering electrical projects in live data centre environments with project values typically £1m–£10m.

The role focuses on critical infrastructure upgrades, including switchgear, UPS and generator systems, requiring strong planning, safety, and client-facing delivery across live environments.

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical Contract Manager or similar.
• Data centre or critical infrastructure experience.
• Strong project commercial oversight incl. forecasting and cost control.
• Knowledge of RAMS, permits, QA and HSQE requirements.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of electrical projects in data centres.
• Oversee contract lifecycle from mobilisation to close-out.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor financial performance including cost and gross margin.
• Ensure compliance with HSQE, permits and statutory requirements.
• Identify additional works and drive revenue growth.
