Job summary

Amazon Data Services UK Limited is seeking a Data Center Security Specialist to oversee security programs across our data center campuses. You will manage contract guards, coordinate vendors, and drive improvements in electronic surveillance and access controls.

The role requires strong data-analysis skills, policy development experience, and excellent communication. Occasional travel to multiple sites up to 50% of the week is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience developing standards, policies and programs or equivalent.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data to drive process and system improvements.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel between local sites up to 50% of the work week.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of a professional contract guard force.
• Interface with vendors involved in system repairs and new security construction.
• Oversee vendor deliverables and track service delivery; request corrective actions as needed.
• Educate data center stakeholders on false alarm reductions.
• Extract metrics and analyze data to observe improvements.
