Job summary

Kao Data is seeking an experienced Operations Cost Controller to act as the central finance lead for all operational and facilities expenditure across its data centre sites. You will ensure financial controls, accurate billing, and clear reporting while supporting general operations administration.

The role requires strong Excel skills, familiarity with PO processes and invoicing workflows, and the ability to translate complex operational activity into financial insight for senior management.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or data centre environments.
• Strong command of Excel and related financial systems.
• Knowledge of PO processes, invoicing workflows, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Own finance control across FM and operational cost activity and report findings.
• Attend monthly billing meetings with FM provider and suppliers.
• Prepare cost forecasts, variance analyses and month‑end reporting.
• Identify rechargeable costs and ensure correct allocation to customers.
• Maintain CAFM data accuracy and support operations administration.
• Present financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
