Job summary
Kao Data is seeking a Commercial Manager to drive commercial insight across its AI-focused data centre portfolio. You will lead cost management, budgeting, and procurement strategies while coordinating with delivery, finance and legal teams to optimise project outcomes.
The role requires Chartered status, experience in data centres/M&E, and strong MS Office skills in a fast-moving, technical environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Cost Management or Quantity Surveying.
- Chartered status with a recognised professional body (RICS or CIOB).
- Experience in cost management within M&E and data centre sectors.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Project.
Responsibilities
- Prepare development budgets, business cases and project budgets under time constraints.
- Lead cost management across the delivery lifecycle and value engineering.
- Advise on procurement strategies and contract approaches for project delivery.
- Collaborate with Delivery, Finance and Legal teams to ensure commercial alignment.
