Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Master Planning Manager to lead front-end master planning, technical due diligence and early-stage development for data centre opportunities across the EMEA region. You will transform architectural concepts into decision-ready development packages and drive value through planning and feasibility assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Planning or related built-environment discipline.
• Minimum 5 years architectural data centre design experience.
• Experience delivering and reviewing master planning and early-stage development for data centers.
• Strong understanding of site planning, zoning, infrastructure, power and feasibility assessments.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders, including acquisitions, engineering, construction teams and external consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end master planning, technical due diligence and early-stage evaluation activities for new data center development opportunities.
• Develop and refine master plans, block plans and option studies to evaluate capacity, layout and feasibility.
• Translate architectural direction into decision-ready development packages with key metrics and planning recommendations.
• Coordinate inputs from multidisciplinary teams to support investment and development decisions.
• Maintain master planning project briefs with version control and stakeholder alignment.
• Support feasibility studies and due diligence, consolidating technical, cost and programme information.
• Prepare presentations and development materials for internal reviews and investment decisions.
• Drive digital tools, automation and data-driven methodologies to improve quality, efficiency and scalability.
