Job summary

Springtide Project Services seeks a Data Centre Architectural Technical Director to lead the Architectural & Digital Design discipline across Europe and the UK. You will drive design excellence, governance, and innovation, with responsibility for budgets and cross‑office collaboration.

You will mentor teams, shape BIM workflows, and ensure alignment with global standards while supporting business development and client engagement in a fast‑growing data centre sector.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading architectural design for data centres or similar facilities.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage large technical projects.
• Strong organizational skills for planning and supervising work.

Responsibilities

• Project & Technical Leadership: define scope, schedule and design requirements with stakeholders.
• Oversight of design outputs for quality, standards, and budgets across offices.
• Strategic & Organisational Leadership: develop long term plans and lead communities of practice.
• People Leadership: hiring, performance reviews, workload planning, and development.
• Technical Excellence & Digital Delivery: ensure BIM deliverables, model fidelity, and 5D-7D workflows.
• Business Development & Client Engagement: contribute to proposals and client meetings.
• Travel to regional offices and client sites as needed.
