Job summary

Vantage Data Centers in London and Frankfurt is seeking a Principal Architect to lead architectural design authority for mission-critical projects across the EMEA region. You will drive data-centric design, governance, and lifecycle asset integration from concept through operations.

The role requires 10+ years in data centre architecture, strong ISO 19650 knowledge, and hands-on BIM/DFMA experience. A hybrid work model and international travel up to 15% are expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in architectural design within data centre or mission critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 information management.
• BIM tools: Revit, Navisworks, ACC/Forma; multidisciplinary data centre systems.
• Ability to lead digital delivery governance and platform standardisation across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural scope across early-stage development (WS0–WS2).
• Define scalable design solutions aligned to platform strategy and standardisation objectives.
• Integrate CSA, MEP, ICT, and Security requirements into coordinated, buildable solutions.
• Contribute to product and platform development, including modularisation and DfMA strategies.
• Drive governance of BIM/Digital Delivery teams for consistent execution.
